Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time school-based contract opportunity in Towson, Maryland for the upcoming school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success in an educational setting.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements. Previous experience working with special education students and collaborating with families is highly preferred.
Position Details:
Full-time contract position
School-based setting
New school year assignment
Potential renewal opportunities based on performance while on contract
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop student support plans
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for educational programming
Support students with behavioral, social, emotional, and academic needs
Provide consultation services to staff and families
Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
Requirements:
Active Maryland School Psychologist certification/licensure
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements
Previous school-based experience preferred
Experience working with special education populations strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
