Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results for students, making recommendations for interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop student-centered strategies that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group counseling as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and monitoring of educational goals
- Offer professional guidance to school teams on student development, learning strategies, and behavioral interventions
- Promote safe, inclusive, and constructive school climates
