A contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist interested in working a full-time, onsite role within a dynamic urban high school setting. This position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering consistent hours each week. The district requires presence on campus for all 5 days, engaging directly with students, staff, and families to support a diverse school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active School Psychologist certification/licensure required
- Strong experience in school-based settings, preferably in urban environments
- Comfortable conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for high school students
- Able to obtain and maintain all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential—no accommodations for schedule flexibility
- Must be available and onsite from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable with the location and district’s expectations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility and other student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support and intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed
- Prepare clear, detailed documentation and maintain accurate records
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary teams
