Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification/licensure (PA)
- Previous experience working directly in schools is required
- Demonstrated success in urban educational settings
- Proficient in student evaluations and assessments, including OOD evaluations and overflow cases
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Comfortable working onsite five days per week—no remote work or schedule accommodations
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned locations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based psychological services for middle school students
- Conduct individual assessments, complete evaluations, and deliver recommendations
- Handle assigned caseloads (6th-8th grade) or manage overflow and out-of-district (OOD) evaluations, depending on the position
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other support staff to create positive outcomes for students
- Maintain confidential and organized records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Uphold a professional, student-centered approach within an urban school setting
The Details:
- Contract positions are full-time, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours weekly
- Start as soon as possible; assignments run through June 10, 2027
- Work hours: 8:15AM–3PM or 8:30AM–4PM, depending on assignment
- Onsite, in-person work expected every day—district requires full physical presence
