Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a vibrant educational environment! Two exciting opportunities are available for dedicated School Psychologists to work onsite full-time with middle school students. You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to provide essential evaluations and assessments, helping guide the academic and emotional growth of young learners.
There are two distinct positions available:
- One position involves working with a 6th-8th grade caseload, with hours of 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM.
- The second position is primarily at another local middle school, focused on occasional out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and overflow assessments, scheduled from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Both openings are Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours per week, and run from now until June 10, 2027.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Current, active Pennsylvania certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly within urban communities
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work the specified onsite schedule without accommodation
- Up-to-date PA criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances
- Comfort working in varied district locations and with a diverse student population
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Maintaining compliant, timely documentation
- Assisting with OOD evaluations and handling assessment overflow as needed
