Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified School Psychometrist to support students within a K–12 educational setting. The School Psychometrist will work under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist to administer and score standardized assessments, assist with evaluations, and support the special education process. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success while collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer and score cognitive, academic, behavioral, and developmental assessments under the supervision of a licensed School Psychologist.
- Assist with special education evaluations and reevaluations.
- Conduct student observations and collect relevant assessment data.
- Prepare testing materials and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and related service providers.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
- Assist with report preparation and documentation as directed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field required.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Experience administering educational or psychological assessments preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
