Key Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed School Psychologist, or eligible for relevant state credentials
- Experience with assessments, psychological evaluations, and developing intervention strategies
- Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) processes and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, educators, and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to diverse student needs
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention and support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on goals and services
- Deliver counseling and consultative services for students, parents, and staff as needed
- Maintain careful documentation, records, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource on issues related to mental health, learning challenges, and positive behavior supports
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
