School Psychologist - Villa Park, Illinois

This full-time, in-person contract opportunity is perfect for a School Psychologist with a passion for working with young children and the skills to support our Early Childhood program throughout the academic year.
As a valued member of our educational team, you will play a central role in identifying student needs and collaborating with educators and families to ensure each child’s success. The assignment begins with orientation on August 11th and 12th, with the school year running from August 13th to May 28th. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Your Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience in early childhood education, ideally with children ages 3 and 4
- Strong background in conducting screening and play-based assessments
- Familiarity with initial IEP processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete screenings and play-based assessments for early childhood students
- Assist teachers and families with the initial IEP process
- Provide day-to-day support to students with diverse needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Document findings and help implement interventions as needed
