Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting K-12 students with your expertise as a School Psychologist. This onsite opportunity runs from late July 2026 through May 2027 and offers the chance to make a direct impact across multiple school sites. You'll focus on conducting evaluations, administering testing, and providing counseling that fosters student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active South Carolina School Psychology License required
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication abilities
- Comfortable working across various grade levels and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable to traveling between school locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education or intervention services
- Interpret data and compile thorough, actionable assessment reports
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to individuals and small groups
- Participate actively in student support and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service personnel to promote student well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
