Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina School Psychology License required
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, evaluations, and delivering counseling services
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive educational and social outcomes for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide targeted counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with staff to support student learning, behavior, and mental health initiatives
- Participate actively in multi-disciplinary teams, consultations, and meetings
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation in a timely manner
This full-time contract offers a stable schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the academic year, beginning late July and concluding in May. As an onsite role, you will have the opportunity to build direct relationships with school communities and see the impact of your expertise firsthand.
