A contract opportunity is available for skilled school psychologists seeking a dynamic role working with K-12 students. This position is onsite, providing comprehensive psychological services across multiple school sites, and is ideal for those passionate about supporting student success through assessments and counseling.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychology License required
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to travel between sites within the district
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered service delivery
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students in K-12
- Perform comprehensive testing to determine student needs and eligibility for services
- Provide direct counseling and consultative support
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families on intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Assist in crisis interventions and behavioral planning as needed
