School Psychologist - Walpole, Massachusetts

An opportunity is available for a dedicated elementary school psychologist to contribute expertise and support to students and staff during the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract position entails a 40-hour workweek and involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams committed to student learning and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in Massachusetts, or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date
- Solid foundation in educational psychology, special education processes, and behavioral interventions
- Experience working with elementary grade levels is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and consultation
- Readiness to report to Team Chair(s) and Building Principal(s)
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations related to special education eligibility and IEP formulation
- Serve as an integral member of IEP and 504 teams, actively assisting in plan development and participating in meetings
- Deliver IEP-based counseling services as assigned
- Provide consultation for staff, parents, and students
- Participate in pre-referral teams and professional development activities as required
- Engage in the district Medicaid billing process
- Respond to crises with intervention support for students and staff
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
