Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid NY School Psychologist certification required
- Proven ability to perform psychoeducational assessments in both English and Arabic
- Experience gathering and documenting bilingual social history as part of evaluation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive bilingual psychoeducational evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Conduct thorough interviews for bilingual social history as part of the evaluation process
- Prepare and present clear, actionable assessment reports for school teams, parents, and guardians
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to inform educational planning and interventions
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
