Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Current Michigan licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working across elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable approach to meet diverse school community needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and cognitive assessments to evaluate students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect student support through counseling, intervention planning, and behavioral consultation
- Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to improve student outcomes
- Engage families and caregivers as partners in supporting student growth
- Maintain timely records and adhere to ethical and professional guidelines
