Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
- Experience in school settings, working with diverse student populations
- Strong knowledge of consultation, assessment, and intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical standards in educational psychology
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for individualized education planning
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually or in small groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support students’ needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning and implementation
- Support schools by providing crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential reports and records in compliance with state regulations
