Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in educational psychology or related field
- At least one year of supervised internship experience with a credentialed school psychologist
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students (PreK-12)
- Provide direct intervention and counseling services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Interpret assessment data and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure student needs are met
- Respond to crisis situations and offer short-term interventions as needed
- Support school-wide initiatives that promote mental wellness and positive climate across the district
