Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in educational psychology, or related field
- Completion of at least one year of internship under the supervision of a credentialed school psychologist
- Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License for School Psychologists
- Strong understanding of best practices in assessment, intervention, and educational consultation
- Collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to flexibly support a variety of learners
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in district-wide RTI/MTSS frameworks to promote student well-being and success
- Serve as a resource in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation as needed
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential records
