School Psychologist - Weatherford, Texas

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled School Psychologists to make a difference in the educational setting. This contract position is based on-site, serving as an itinerant support across five schools, primarily at the elementary level, with some middle school involvement. You'll work closely with students, staff, and families to provide critical psychological services, evaluations, and interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Experience with school-based psychological services preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable
- Strong background in evaluations and direct services related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairment (OHI), and ADHD
- Comfortable completing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Must complete or verify fingerprints through TEA (processing may take up to 10 business days)
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and adept at adapting to multiple campus environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between assigned schools to provide comprehensive psychological services
- Perform assessments, evaluations, and intervention planning for students in need
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop support plans and provide consultative services
- Write clear, actionable reports and documentation in compliance with standards
- Support Special Education initiatives and attend relevant meetings
This contract begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, requiring 35 hours per week of on-site work. Your expertise will help shape supportive learning environments and positively impact student outcomes.
