- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, FBA/BIPs, and reporting
- Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to advocating for student needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
What You'll Do:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education services
- Provide individual and group counseling, as needed, to support students’ social-emotional needs
- Implement and consult on behavioral interventions and academic supports
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer crisis support and contribute to the creation of safe, inclusive learning environments
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to staff and parents
- Remain current with professional best practices and continuing education requirements
