Open to both on-site and a select number of virtual professionals, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on psychoeducational evaluation, behavioral support, and collaboration to drive student success. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- At least two years of successful internship or equivalent professional experience
- State certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in using technology for assessments, reporting, and virtual collaboration (for virtual candidates)
- Able to adapt, communicate, and collaborate across diverse groups
- Physical requirements outlined, including capacity for sedentary work and light lifting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and communicate results with parents and educators
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavioral needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and community agencies
- Participate in developing and reviewing IEPs, attend placement meetings, and support crisis interventions
- Maintain accurate records, prepare required reports, and keep current with professional developments
- Engage in ongoing consultations, in-service training, and compliance with all relevant policies and laws
