The role is structured for a 35-hour workweek and focuses on providing dedicated psychological support to a high school caseload. Collaborate with students, educators, and families to foster a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (required)
- Background in school-based psychological assessments and counseling
- Experience with high school-aged students preferred
- Excellent communication, consultation, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain timely documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop tailored interventions for students
- Collaborate with educators and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
- Consult with staff regarding student learning and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with policies and legal requirements
