In this role, you will:
- Administer psychological evaluations and assessments to students to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Participate and contribute expertise during PPT meetings, working closely with educators and families
- Develop and recommend appropriate interventions, strategies, and supports based on assessment data
- Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Foster a positive, culturally responsive environment with students from diverse backgrounds
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to staff, parents, and stakeholders
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued and greatly enhance your ability to connect with families
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification in Connecticut)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing tools and evaluation procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a significant advantage
