Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State-issued School Psychologist license
- Expertise in conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards in student evaluation and support
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students experiencing learning, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Interpret and communicate assessment results to staff and families to inform educational planning
- Design and implement interventions to support academic and social-emotional success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and serve as a key member of student support teams
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to address student needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
