This contract opportunity is available through June 8, 2027, at a welcoming elementary school near Wilmington, Delaware. Work onsite Monday through Friday (35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day), providing essential psychological services and helping students grow and thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist license in Delaware
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Commitment to collaborative, solution-oriented work
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting
- Enthusiastic about supporting elementary-aged children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to design intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and participate in meetings
- Support implementation of behavioral and academic strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and compliance with legal requirements
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and offer staff guidance on student mental health
