Exciting opportunities await for School Psychologists seeking a full-time contract role for the 2026–2027 school year in a vibrant, collaborative educational environment. This position runs from August 26, 2026, to June 11, 2027, Monday through Friday, serving a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Licensed professionals in the state of IL are encouraged to bring their expertise and passion for student development to support positive educational outcomes.
What We’re Seeking:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in Illinois
- Experience with students across multiple grade levels: early childhood, elementary, middle, and high
- Strong knowledge of special education law and best practices—especially regarding early childhood and school-age assessments
- Excellent communicator, adept at engaging with families, staff, and community partners
- Experience conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments
- Comfort facilitating IEP, MTSS, and data team meetings
- Ability to travel between multiple preschool locations for early childhood role
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and evaluate students transitioning from early intervention, as well as those referred for special education between ages 3–5
- Conduct initial and re-evaluations, eligibility determination, and functional behavior assessments for K–12 students
- Serve as a communication bridge between families, general education partners, and special education teams
- Facilitate, attend, and help lead IEP meetings and problem-solving sessions
- Support MTSS practices, drive team meetings, and ensure legal compliance
