Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in the state of Illinois
- Experience conducting educational and behavioral assessments
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving
- Knowledge of special education law and IEP processes
- Commitment to supporting students and families through transitions and evaluations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct reevaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, initial evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- For Early Childhood (0.6 FTE): Screen and evaluate children ages 3–5, travel between several preschools, communicate with families new to the special education process, and participate in IEP meetings
- For K–4 (1.0 FTE): Evaluate students, facilitate MTSS data team meetings, support IEP processes, and assist with both initial and re-evaluation meetings
