Role Details:
- Full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, August 26 – June 11
- Traditional Monday – Friday hours
- Caseload spanning early childhood, K-4, and older grades
- Travel required between local sites for early childhood assessments
Qualifications:
- Must hold active School Psychologist licensure in Illinois
- Experience with re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and conducting functional behavioral assessments
- Expertise in special education law and best practices, especially for early childhood and K-4 grade levels
- Exceptional communication skills, fostering relationships with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel between preschool sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student re-evaluations, eligibility determinations, and initial assessments
- Facilitate IEP and MTSS meetings; support problem-solving teams
- Communicate clearly with families, including those new to special education processes
- Collaborate with general and special education staff
