What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and current School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina
- Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and intervention techniques
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to interpret and apply state and federal special education regulations
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write detailed reports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborating with staff and parents to develop student plans
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, both individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance students’ learning and mental health
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide recommendations for behavioral supports as needed
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) processes, offering expertise on assessment and evidence-based practices
- Remain current on best practices and continuing education in the field
