Step into a rewarding contract role supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of K-12 students as a School Psychologist. Located in the scenic area near Woodland Park, CO, this position spans from November 17, 2025, to May 22, 2026, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with School Psychologist K-12 endorsement.
- Completion of an approved specialist-level program (minimum 60 graduate-level semester hours) or an approved doctoral program in school psychology, focused on serving students birth through age 21, from a regionally accredited institution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and district fingerprinting process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for classroom or intervention strategies.
- Summarize evaluation outcomes in detailed written reports prepared in advance of IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to adjust learning environments and curricula as needed.
- Participate in pre-referral and post-placement meetings to develop effective intervention approaches.
- Engage in staff, professional, and inter-agency meetings to ensure coordinated support for students.
