School Psychologist - 4 month Position

School-Based Psychologist – Oxford, Connecticut
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed School Psychologist for a school-based position supporting early elementary students in Oxford, Connecticut for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Position Details:

Number of Positions: 1
Caseload: PreK – 2nd Grade
Setting: Onsite Only
Hours: TBD – school hours

Contract Period: August 31, 2026 – November 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

School-Based Psychologists may provide:

Psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
Individual and group counseling for students
Crisis intervention and de-escalation support as an active member of the school's crisis team
IEP development, finalization, and participation in IEP meetings
Social-emotional and behavioral assessments
Collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Consultation and support for teachers and staff
Progress monitoring and documentation
Coordination with community mental health resources and family outreach

Qualifications:

Active Connecticut School Psychologist certification required
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
Early childhood or elementary school-based experience preferred
Experience with crisis intervention and IEP development strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Compensation:
This is a W-2 hourly position. Pay will start around $48/Hour
