Make an impact supporting students’ growth and well-being as a contracted school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time opportunity based near Airway Heights, WA, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding June 16, 2027. You’ll play a vital role within a welcoming district, collaborating with other professionals to shape positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Licensing:
- Valid Washington (WA) School Psychologist license required
- Previous school-based experience as a psychologist is highly desirable
- Ability to work with diverse student populations across a range of ages and backgrounds
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Comfortable adapting to needs of multiple school sites (final assignment details forthcoming)
- Effective communicator and collaborator with educators, families, and support staff
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to maintain accurate records and reports
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide direct support and interventions to students
- Consult with educators and parents to develop and implement educational plans
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic success
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to intervention teams
- Maintain documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Adapt services as needed to changing caseload and school priorities
