Key Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon (OR) School Psychologist license is required
- Previous experience working with children in early childhood settings, ideally ages birth to 5
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children aged birth to 5 to identify developmental, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Provide recommendations and collaborate with early intervention and education teams to develop individualized support plans
- Consult with families, teachers, and related service providers to implement and monitor intervention strategies
- Participate in eligibility determinations and facilitate meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education
