Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Previous school-based experience, especially with K-4 populations
- Understanding of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication abilities with students, educators, and families
- Organizational skills to manage services across multiple buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend supports
- Maintain accurate documentation related to evaluations, interventions, and services provided
- Support crisis intervention efforts and deliver individual or group counseling as needed
- Contribute to positive school climates within each assigned building
