You’ll work on-site from 8 AM to 3 PM, with your contract running from August 19 to June 3. Manage a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, providing essential support services across a diverse population. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school psychologist role, preferably with Pre-K through 8th grade students
- Understanding of education-based testing, interventions, and behavior plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to work independently and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
