This is an in-person, part-time position following a Monday–Friday, 8 AM–3 PM schedule, running from August 19 through June 3. Engage with diverse educational professionals, develop tailored interventions, and further your insight into best practices across varying school environments, all while nurturing your counseling and consultation skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license for Illinois (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in PreK–8 school settings preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with school teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and help develop IEPs for a 30-student caseload
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to promote student success
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and behavior management support as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to school-wide interventions
