School Psychologist
Soliant is looking for a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join a full-time position at a client near Anderson, Indiana. The School Psychologist will support the academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success of students through evaluation, report writing, consultation, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families. - Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility conferences, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to develop academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
- Assist with development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and social-emotional supports
- Support crisis intervention, threat assessments, and student safety initiatives
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for educational programming and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in professional development and district initiatives focused on student wellness and achievement
- Possess knowledge of special education laws, IDEA, evaluation procedures, MTSS, and IEP processes
