Step into a pivotal educational role as a contracted School Psychologist supporting students at a vibrant middle school environment near Andover, MN. This is a part-time, onsite opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing crucial psychological services in collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
Key Dates and Details:
- Assignment runs from August 25, 2026, to June 10, 2027
- 0.4 FTE (approximately 15 hours per week), Monday to Friday
- Primarily serving students onsite, though candidates with School Social Worker experience may also be considered
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
- Experience working within school settings, ideally with middle schoolers
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and commitment to a culturally responsive, inclusive approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling and targeted interventions for students and groups
- Partner with educators and parents to promote student achievement and social-emotional development
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document and maintain comprehensive records to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
