What’s required:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid State of Michigan School Psychologist credential or eligibility
- Previous experience working with diverse student populations preferred
- Strong report writing, consultation, and assessment skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and external agencies
- Adaptability and commitment to supporting students across different grade levels
- Experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks a plus
Your role will include:
- Delivering psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results to inform interventions
- Participating in IEP/504 meetings and eligibility determinations
- Providing direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators on concerns related to learning, behavior, or mental health
- Facilitating crisis intervention or behavior management support
- Contributing to an inclusive, supportive school environment at both assigned building levels
