Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in a K-12 setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, and behavioral management
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
- Proficiency in developing and interpreting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic or emotional challenges
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to suggest effective learning strategies and interventions
- Support crisis response and prevention initiatives within the school
- Participate in meetings, provide training, and serve as a valuable resource for staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and relevant documentation in compliance with regulations
