Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Valid Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 license (School Psychology specialization)
- Previous experience in educational settings, preferably across elementary and/or middle school levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for assessment and intervention planning
- Proven ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a resource for students, providing assessments and interventions to support their academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Offer consultation to teachers and parents regarding student learning and behavioral challenges
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments to evaluate student eligibility for special education services
- Facilitate crisis response and counseling as necessary
- Maintain clear documentation and deliver comprehensive reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Rotate between several elementary and middle schools to meet broad caseload needs, bringing expertise across age groups
