Ideally, candidates will be comfortable conducting comprehensive evaluations and are open to a diverse caseload, with evaluation loads varying throughout the assignment. While in-person services are highly preferred to foster connections with students and staff, candidates open to a flexible hybrid arrangement may also be considered. Spanish-speaking professionals are highly valued, though bilingual skills are not mandatory.
Key Qualifications:
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations in a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Comfortable navigating dynamic schedules and evaluation loads
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for students in preschool through grade 5
- Serve both Aspen Elementary and Hawthorn School for Young Learners, within walking distance of each other
- Collaborate with educators and families to interpret assessment results and support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain detailed records, follow confidentiality guidelines, and adhere to district policies
- Support the transition with a brief overlap opportunity alongside the current school psychologist
