Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for the state of assignment
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Knowledgeable in conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing interventions, and supporting multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Strong communication, consultative, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-5 students
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations to educators and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and serve as a key member of student support teams
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote positive learning environments and address behavioral or academic concerns
- Maintain documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards in all practices
- Work a schedule not to exceed 40 hours per week for the duration of the contract
