Step into a transformative contract position providing essential psychological services in elementary school settings near Arvada, CO. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary.
In this onsite, full-time role, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of young learners. Your expertise as a School Psychologist will help foster inclusive and supportive environments where students can thrive.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License is required
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings, with a strong understanding of school operations and processes
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, implement interventions, and facilitate effective consultation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and respect for diverse backgrounds and learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological assessments, individualized counseling, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop educational and behavioral plans
- Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) teams
- Provide crisis response, prevention strategies, and targeted group sessions as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to IEP meetings
