Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Public Health Psychology, or a related field
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification/licensure for Colorado
- Experience performing psychological assessments within K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of special education processes, laws, and eligibility requirements
- Outstanding communication skills for delivering results and collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for students from elementary through high school to determine eligibility for special education or related services
- Interpret and communicate testing results clearly to IEP teams, parents, and educators
- Prepare detailed psychological evaluation reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Recommend strategies and interventions based on findings to help support student learning and emotional development
- Maintain documentation and adhere to all deadlines and confidentiality requirements
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student needs are appropriately addressed
