School Psychologist | Arvada, Colorado
Step into a rewarding, fully in-person contract role supporting students and educational teams with your expertise in school psychology. This position is based in the vicinity of Arvada, CO, with opportunities available on dedicated assessment teams focusing on cognitive evaluations, Child Find, and bilingual evaluations across select elementary campuses.
You’ll be directly involved in meaningful work on either a district-level psychological assessment team, supporting 4–6 schools, or conducting Child Find evaluations at North Star Elementary and additional sites. The assignment is set to run ASAP through May 21, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week at a single school per assignment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service License (CO DOE SSL) with School Psychologist (Ages 0–21) endorsement
- Experience in school-based psychological assessment and evaluation
- Ability to manage assessments across multiple sites, including bilingual settings if qualified
- Comfort with district-level work and collaborating interprofessionally
- Bilingual skill set is a plus, especially for those interested in the bilingual Child Find Evaluation Team
- Timely completion of district contractor paperwork, as required before assignment start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments for cognitive and developmental concerns
- Conduct Child Find evaluations for early identification of student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams and families to support student success
- Engage with students ranging from preschool to secondary, depending on assignment
