We're seeking two dedicated professionals to join a district-level assessment team, each assigned to one school and collaborating with a larger evaluation group. These contract positions are fully onsite, offering rewarding opportunities to make a difference through comprehensive cognitive and bilingual child find assessments.
Your role will be essential to Child Find and district assessment initiatives. One position focuses on contributing to a district-level cognitive assessment team, supporting 4–6 schools with psychologist-only evaluations. The other is ideal for a bilingual professional, conducting evaluations at multiple locations alongside the district's Child Find and Bilingual Child Find Evaluation Teams.
What we'd love to see in your background:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with a School Psychologist (Ages 0–21) Endorsement
- Experience in cognitive and/or bilingual child assessments
- Background in school-based psychological services
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school sites as needed
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and fellow professionals
- Timely completion of credentialing requirements, including the district contractor packet prior to starting
Key things you’ll do each week:
- Deliver psychological assessments and Child Find evaluations (including bilingual, if applicable)
- Provide expert recommendations and documentation for student success plans
- Travel between designated schools for on-site services
- Participate in evaluation teams and multidisciplinary meetings
- Engage with staff and families as a resource on evaluation processes
