Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Georgia license as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience supporting elementary through middle school-aged students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and families
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
- Ability to adapt practices to meet a range of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Deliver individual and group counseling services for students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Develop and participate in effective intervention strategies to support students’ success
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and other educational plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and stay current with best practices in school psychology
