Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to high school students, where you'll make a real impact in a supportive and engaging educational environment. This contract opportunity is located near Aurora, CO, and runs from ASAP through 5/21/27, providing the chance to work full-time, fully on-site, for 37.5 hours per week.
Opportunities are available for three dedicated professionals:
- High School Psychologist or Social Worker (1.0 FTE), serving a single high school campus supporting students in Special Education, including those with mild to moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs.
- Evaluation Team Psychologists (two 1.0 FTE positions) for the Child Find Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary, focusing on Child Find assessments.
- Bilingual Child Find Evaluation Team member — either a psychologist or Early Childhood Special Education teacher — to conduct bilingual evaluations at designated district locations.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with a School Psychologist (ages 0–21) endorsement.
- Special Education experience strongly preferred, especially with evaluation and IEP mental health services.
- Experience with Child Find processes is a plus, particularly bilingual assessment abilities.
- Must complete all district-required contractor paperwork before beginning your assignment.
- Fully in-person availability is required; remote or hybrid arrangements are not offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement comprehensive school psychological services including evaluations, counseling, and consultation.
- Support students’ mental health and academic achievement through individualized and group services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
- Conduct Child Find and bilingual evaluations as assigned.
