School Psychologist - Aurora, Colorado

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in the school environment by delivering vital psychological and mental health services. This fully in-person contract opportunity places you at the heart of student support, serving one school site per assignment within a high school setting or as part of a Child Find evaluation team. Begin as soon as possible, with your commitment valued through the end of the school year (5/21/27), working 37.5 hours weekly. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students with diverse needs, including those with mild to moderate, affective, and significant support requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist (Ages 0-21) Endorsement
- Experience within special education settings is highly preferred
- Ability to serve high school students or work within a district-level Child Find evaluation team
- Experience or confidence working with students with mental health services on their IEPs
- Bilingual skills are an asset, especially for district-level Child Find roles
- Completion of district-specific contractor credentialing and documentation prior to start
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services for students, collaborating closely with educational staff
- Support and evaluate students presenting with varied affective and support needs
- Conduct Child Find evaluations at district elementary sites, including bilingual assessments if qualified
- Coordinate with evaluation and special education teams to ensure accurate and individualized service provision
- Engage in ongoing communication with school teams and administrators
