Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid CO Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with a School Psychologist endorsement for ages 0-21.
- Previous experience with cognitive assessments and psychological evaluations.
- Experience working with children across various school age groups, including early childhood.
- Ability to work fully onsite and travel between assigned school locations as needed.
- Bilingual skills are highly valued for the bilingual Child Find Evaluation role.
- Completion and timely submission of all district contractor documentation before assignment start.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive and psychological evaluations as part of the district-level assessment teams.
- Collaborate with the Child Find Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary, providing thorough evaluations to identify student needs.
- Rotate between multiple campuses for the bilingual Child Find Evaluation Team; work with students and families who require services in multiple languages.
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and provide recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with district protocols.
- Serve as the primary psychologist assigned to an assessment team, typically supporting 4-6 schools.
